Italian Orange Cake

This Italian Orange Cake is straightforward and easy and includes some healthy Greek yoghourt. I tend to use Greek yoghourt additional currently rather than milk or bitter milk, it looks to form food moister.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar 180 grams
  • 1 cup + 3 tablespoons flour 150 grams
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter 50 grams
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 15 ml
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 1/2 grams
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2 1/2 grams
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 1.4 grams
  • zest from half an orange
  • 2 tablespoons greek yogurt 32 1/2 grams
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk 21 grams


Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 320° (160° celsius), lightly grease and flour an 8 inch cake pan.
  2. Whisk yogurt and milk together until smooth.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  4. Melt butter and combine with olive oil and zest, cool.
